Caraway Begins Communicating and Collaborating with Edmodo

The TAG teachers are using the educational site Edmodo to create a way for 4^th and 5^th grade TAG students to be able to communicate and collaborate with each other. Edmodo is a free and secure learning network for teachers, students, and schools.  It provides a safe way for students and the teachers to connect, share content, access homework, participate in discussions and receive class information.  Students have electronic backpacks which allow them to access assignments and projects both at home and at school. Students also have the ability to turn in assignments, ask questions, attach links, have discussions and earn badges. Edmodo has proven to be not only motivational, but also productive in helping students communicate and collaborate in this increasingly digital world.
