Padlet in Science

Ms. Jean's fourth grade class met with Mr. Cook's class to discuss inherited traits versus learned behaviors. They gave Padlet, a Google App, a try to document examples of each. After writing a few down in class, they e-mailed the students a link to the Padlet wall so they could go home and add to it. Here's a screen grab of what turned out:

Technology in Action in Science

Moments ago I was thrilled to walk into one of our fifth grade classrooms to find all 5 classes watching the big screen.  Fifth grade was using a Go Temp USB digital temperature probe to track the temperature of water and salt water as they tested the boiling point of the two liquids for their study of physical properties.
