Geometry Scavenger Hunt
Ms. Shannan Hall's Third Grade did a polygon scavenger hunt around the school. They took cameras with them and took pictures of different geometry vocabulary terms and turned their images into Photostories. Very creative examples, third grade! Ms. Hall has displayed them on her teacher webpage.

Happy Mother's Day
This year, for Mother's Day, Mrs. Amiri's first grade experienced lots of fun projects. The students made the
traditional flower pots, decorated with their thumb prints and artwork, and planted flowers. They also made pop up cards, a book about the children's memories with their moms, drew mom's portraits and wrote an original poem.
They finalized everything with recording the children's voice reading their poems with their mom's portrait in a Photo Story.
Happy Mother's Day to all!

The Grinch by Mrs. Conquest's Class
Mrs. Conquest's class also illustrated the Grinch song since it was filled with sensory language. Not only is her class amazing artists, but they are pretty good singers as well. Enjoy the first recording from the Conquest class!...But, Not the last!

The Grinch
Second Grade teachers enjoyed taking a half day to refresh and learn new technology skills in professional development. Then, they immediately went back into the classroom and shared their knowledge with their students! Awesome! They took their knowledge of Photostory3 and incorporated it into their sensory language in poetry unit using the seasonal The Grinch song and story. Enjoy watching Ms. Gros's "musical" 2nd grade class sing to their original art!

Mrs. Hall's 3rd Grade class has been studying the elements of nonfiction in reading and writing. Students were paired and assigned a biography to read and discuss. They pulled important details from the stories, and then, they organized the details to share in a Photostory.
