All About Thanksgiving
Ms. Leyva's first grade class has been studying Thanksgiving and have each summarized a section of the book they were reading. They shared in their class using the document camera and recorded it for their parents and families.

Welcome to Caraway's new Technology Showcase Blog
Welcome to Getting I.T. Right @ Caraway's blog and our first posting. We will showcase instructional technology on our campus.
Last year every classroom received a document camera and a ceiling mounted data projector to trio with the desktop computer to bring us into the 21st century. The new equipment was greatly accepted instantaneously by all. Teachers are now able to immediately display student work onto the big screen for all to see to edit or view different ways students solve a problem. Classrooms no longer need to show educational video streaming on the tiny TV screens, but can enjoy on "big screen." We've even had Skyping happening at Caraway with this new hardware.
This year still brings new ideas on how to use our equipment and software to enhance student achievement. This blog will be our way to showcase our technology in action happening at Caraway. Please come back to our site to see what our teachers are sharing.
