Three girls from Caraway 5th grade Troop 917 (Madeline, Haley,
and Victoria) have given the Caraway Playground and PE Running track a facelift as part of their Girl Scout Bronze Leadership project. They have added to the main playground four 4-square courts, four hopscotch designs, painted the walkway, and both basketball courts. For the PE department and 5th grade playground area they have added six 4-square courts. In addition, the girls have raised the money and purchased a red rolling wagon filled with sports equipment for the students to use during recess. When asked why they did it, they replied, "We wanted to leave something back to Caraway for all the kids to enjoy.”
