Fantastic 5th Grade Science Project

Students in Ms. Baker's  5th grade homeroom class are working on a fantastic science project that Mrs. Stenson created. The menu asks 5th grade students to portray an ideal community (watershed) or what the world would look like in 10 years. It provides the students a variety of options to show this ideal community. They have the choice to choose drawings, paint or pastels, create a collage, use Microsoft Paint or Kerpoof, write a poem and present with Voki, use Tagzedo, Glogster map, or Animoto. The project goes on to give the students options to use Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Publisher. It is great seeing students taking the inititative to try new programs.  I'm very impressed, and I can tell that the kids are excited about it! They absolutely love the opportunity to show their work electronically! Examples are starting to be uploaded.
