Our teachers and assistants, Ms. Barta, Ms. Icossipentarhos, and Ms. Barbee, in our Functional Academic classes have started observing students during inclusion classes, specials, and recess times going above and beyond, showing kindness and caring hearts to include and guide the FAC students to a successful outcome. Our art teacher, Ms. Conti, and instructional technology specialist, Ms. Barnard, teamed together to create certificates to set these students apart. They used the online quick certificate site, http://www.senteacher.org/wk/certificates.php to create certificates for our principal, Ms. Hohmann, to hand deliver to these students in a special awards ceremony.
